Masterclasses run by arrangement. Tell us the date that suits and how many you are, and we’ll reply with times and prices.
For an evening, our side of the bar is yours. One of our bartenders walks you and your group through a selection of cocktails from the Opium menu: how they’re built, and why they taste the way they do. Then it’s your turn with the shaker.
You make them, you drink them, and nobody minds if the second attempt is better than the first. It works just as well for a birthday or a hen do as it does for a few friends on a night out.
What to expect
The walk-through
Your bartender shows you the drinks you’ll be making, real cocktails from our list, and the small things that make them work: the ice, the measures, the shake.
Your turn
You build each drink yourself at the bar, with the bartender alongside. Shaken, stirred, garnished and tasted as you go.
The verdict
You finish with your own creations in front of you and the recipes in your head. Stay on after; the bar is open and your table is kept.
