Over 18s. Walk-ins welcome; tables held on request.

We're below ground, down a flight of stairs, so we're not step-free. Call ahead and we'll help however we can.

From Pulteney Bridge, cross to the Bathwick side and head down toward Spring Gardens Road. The vaults are below Grove Street, beneath the old stone.

Finding the door

  1. Cross Pulteney Bridge

    From the city centre, cross Pulteney Bridge to the Bathwick side of the river.

  2. Head for Spring Gardens Road

    Follow the river down towards Spring Gardens Road, below Grove Street.

  3. Find the door, and head down

    There’s no sign on the street. Look for the unmarked door and take the stairs down into the vaults.

Getting hereA short walk from Pulteney Bridge and a few minutes from Bath Spa station. The central car parks are close by, but the lanes are best on foot; most guests walk down or take a taxi.
